In November one of our clients received a special lead scrap smelting kettle in our premises and attended the blank tests on the equipment.

The equipment loads metallic lead scrap, smelts it, separates mechanically any non-lead components (steel, brass, copper, etc.) and transfers lead bullion to refining.

When commissioned in 2022, the kettle will allow our customer to produce lead bullion from metallics without the need to smelt it in the rotary furnace.

This will increase plant capacity, reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
